FAQ

Does Quratic use the AI platform APIs or real browsers?

Section titled “Does Quratic use the AI platform APIs or real browsers?”

Quratic uses real browsers (Chromium) to simulate the experience of a real user. This means the data reflects what actual users see, including any localisation, personalisation, or interface differences that API responses may not include.

Brand detection uses exact string matching (case-insensitive) on the AI response text. It is highly accurate for brands with unambiguous names. Accuracy can be lower for:

  • Brand names that are also common dictionary words
  • Brands with multiple official spellings or abbreviations

You can review raw responses in Responses at any time to verify detection is working correctly.

Can Quratic track brand mentions in non-English AI responses?

Section titled “Can Quratic track brand mentions in non-English AI responses?”

Yes. Quratic records and stores the full AI response text regardless of language. Brand detection works on any language as long as the brand name in Brand Settings → Brand appears in the response text.

If your brand has a local-language name or abbreviation (e.g. a Japanese katakana spelling), contact support to discuss adding it as a secondary detection string.

Yes. AI responses are non-deterministic — the same query can return different answers on different runs. This is expected and is why Quratic tracks share of voice as a percentage over multiple runs rather than reporting a single response.

Your data is retained for 30 days after cancellation. You can export it during this period. After 30 days, all data is permanently deleted.

How is Quratic different from traditional SEO tools?

Section titled “How is Quratic different from traditional SEO tools?”

Traditional SEO tools measure rankings on search engines where the algorithm returns ranked links. AI platforms return free-form text responses. Quratic is purpose-built to measure brand presence in those text responses, across the AI models and markets that matter to you. It is a complement to SEO tools, not a replacement.
