Search & rankings
Quratic’s Search track complements AI visibility by tracking where your brand ranks on Google organic search for specific keywords — the traditional search channel that still drives significant traffic alongside AI platforms.
What gets tracked
Section titled “What gets tracked”For each active keyword, Quratic:
- Runs a Google search from a residential IP in the assigned market
- Records your brand’s organic rank position (or “not ranked”)
- Captures the full SERP snapshot — organic results, AI Overviews, paid ads, SERP features
- Tracks competitor organic positions on the same keyword
- Measures rank change vs. the prior collection
Key metrics
Section titled “Key metrics”| Metric | Definition |
|---|---|
| Avg. organic rank | Mean Google position across active keywords |
| Page-one rate | % of keywords ranking in positions 1–10 |
| Top 3 | Keywords in positions 1–3 |
| Dropped off page one | Keywords that fell from top 10 to 11+ |
| SERP feature ownership | AI Overviews, featured snippets, People Also Ask, etc. |
Device and market
Section titled “Device and market”Keywords can be tracked on desktop, mobile, or both. Rankings often differ significantly by device — a keyword ranking #3 on desktop may be #12 on mobile.
Each keyword is assigned to one market (country). Checks run from a residential IP in that country.
Search vs. AI visibility
Section titled “Search vs. AI visibility”| AI Visibility | Search | |
|---|---|---|
| Input | Prompts (natural-language questions) | Keywords (search terms) |
| Platform | ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, etc. | Google organic |
| Primary metric | Visibility rate, share of voice | Organic rank, page-one rate |
| Capture | Full AI response text | SERP snapshot |
Both tracks share the same project, competitors, markets, and date filters.
