Citations in AI Visibility
The Citations page focuses on brand citations — links to your own domain in AI responses — plus citation gaps where competitors are cited instead of you.
Opening Citations
Section titled “Opening Citations”Click Citations under AI Visibility in the sidebar (directly below Sources).

KPI cards
Section titled “KPI cards”| Metric | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Brand citation share | Your citations as a percentage of all citations captured |
| Unique domains | Number of distinct domains citing your brand |
| Total citations | Total link instances to your domain |
Citation gaps
Section titled “Citation gaps”The Citation gaps card highlights competitor domains cited frequently in your prompts while your domain is not.
Each gap shows the competitor domain and citation count. Click to see the exact URLs the AI cited.

This is useful for content planning: if a competitor’s blog post is cited instead of yours, you know what type of content to create or improve.
Citation trends
Section titled “Citation trends”Stacked area charts show how citations break down by:
- Category — news, blog, directory, community, etc.
- Page type — homepage, product page, guide, etc.
Top cited domains and URLs
Section titled “Top cited domains and URLs”Tables listing your most-cited domains and individual URLs, with links to open the Responses viewer for the capture where each citation appeared.
