Competitor Tracking for Clients

Competitive benchmarking is one of the most valuable deliverables agencies can offer clients. Quratic’s competitor tracking shows each client’s AI share of voice relative to their competitors — automatically, from every check.

For every AI response Quratic captures, it scans the text for:

  • The client’s brand name
  • Every competitor name you have added for that project

All are detected in the same check, with no extra cost per competitor.

  1. Switch to the client’s project
  2. Click Competitors in the sidebar
  3. Enter each competitor’s brand name (exactly as AI platforms refer to them)
  4. Optionally add their domain (for citation detection)
  5. Click Add competitor

Higher competitor limits on Growth and Pro agency plans allow you to track broader competitive landscapes for established clients.

The Competitors page shows a Share of Voice bar chart and a table of all tracked brands with their mention rates. Use the date filter to compare periods.

Key things to look for:

  • Relative position — is the client in the top 3 most-mentioned brands?
  • Displacement events — did a competitor’s SoV increase when the client’s dropped?
  • Opportunity prompts — prompts where no competitor has consistently high SoV (the AI isn’t recommending anyone — a content opportunity)

In your monthly or quarterly client reports, include:

  1. Client’s SoV vs. top 3 competitors — as a trend chart (screenshot from Competitors page or export to Looker Studio)
  2. Month-over-month delta — “Your brand went from 28% to 35% SoV in Singapore on ChatGPT”
  3. Competitor movements — which competitor gained or lost visibility and any known reason (new content, PR, product launch)
  4. Prompt-level breakdown — where the client is winning vs. losing vs. competitors
